Application Process
The Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at Jacobi Medical Center accepts 5 residents to the program each year through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP, “The Match”). During the 2023-2024 interview season (residency class to begin 2025), one residency spot will be offered for a Sabbath observant radiology resident. Applicants applying to the program should apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Applications are accepted from October 1st through November 30th. Applicants should include the following documents in their application:
- Curriculum vitae
- USMLE Step Scores
- Medical school transcript
- MSPE
- Personal statement
- Three letters of recommendation
Applicants are required to have completed an ACGME-accredited internship prior to enrollment in the diagnostic radiology residency training program.
Jacobi Medical Center does sponsor both J-1 and H-1B visas for its international trainees. Questions regarding visas should be forwarded to Ms. Masiel Urena, Assistant Director for Graduate Medical Education.

Interviews
Interviews are offered on a rolling basis and conducted in late October through early February. Prior to the interview day, applicants that have been invited for an interview will receive a confirmation email with information regarding the interview day as well as more details about the program.
A typical interview day will consist of interviews with the faculty, a Q&A session with the residents, and a didactic lecture.
